Submerged-arc welding line at the Huaining Steel Structure works

Capabilities

The plant list, not the brochure copy.

Building steel since 2007 at Qingpu Industrial Park, Huai'an. Everything below is in our own works, under our own EN 1090-2 EXC3 certificate.

Our own works · submerged-arc welding line
6
H-section production lines
Built-up H-section columns and beams, the backbone of every portal frame and plant building we ship.
2
Heavy-structure lines
For box columns, cruciform columns, heavy crane beams and the non-standard work a PEB line cannot take.
160
Machines in total
Cutting, drilling, milling, straightening, blasting and coating, all in our own works.
50,000
Tonnes per year
Rated annual fabrication capacity.

The process

From your drawing to a packed container

We are a make-to-print fabricator. The engineering stays with your consultant; what happens here is everything between the drawing and the shipment.

STEP 01

Raw material stockyard

Plate and section stock held by grade and thickness, with mill certificates kept against each lot so traceability starts before the first cut.

STEP 02

Loading and feeding

Overhead cranes and roller feeds move plate and sections onto the cutting beds. Nesting comes straight off your drawings, so offcut is decided here, not on the shop floor.

STEP 03

Cutting

Laser cutting, plasma cutting and CNC multi-torch flame cutting beds for heavy plate, with ganged torches for repeat parts.

End milling machine for structural steel members
STEP 04

Milling & straightening

End milling and section straightening. This is where assembly-critical tolerance is won or lost on long-span work.

STEP 05

Assembly & welding

Welding robots, submerged-arc welding and combined assembly-welding machines. Processes 135, 136 and 121, coordinated by an IWE-qualified engineer.

STEP 06

Inspection & NDT

Dimensional check and weld inspection before anything moves to coating. Inspection records are part of what ISO 3834-2 requires, so they exist for every job whether or not you ask for them.

STEP 07

Blasting & coating

Shot blasting and coating in our own works, to the specification on your drawings. Nothing goes out to a third-party paint shop where the system can quietly change.

STEP 08

Finished members & despatch

Members marked, bundled and packed for container or breakbulk. Packing lists are matched to the erection sequence so the site opens the right bundle first.

Our production environment, in photographs

Everything here is our own shop floor and the steel that comes off it, photographed at our works in Huai’an. None of it is stock imagery.

Welding

A certificate is a claim about people, not machines.

ISO 3834-2 is the comprehensive tier of the welding quality standard. It requires a named, qualified welding coordinator who is accountable for procedure, qualification and traceability. Ours holds the International Welding Engineer qualification, classified under ISO 14731:2019 §6.2.2.

Our welding procedure qualification records cover processes 135, 136 and 135+121, material group 1.2, at plate thicknesses up to 30 mm.
