Pipe Racks & Equipment Support Structures

EN 1090-2 EXC3 ISO 3834-2 ISO 9001

Pipe racks, equipment platforms, access structures and support frames for chemical, power and process plants. These are the structures that standard pre-engineered building suppliers are not set up to fabricate: every bay is different, and every connection follows your piping and equipment layout.

Where It Fits Best

01

Plants where a PEB supplier cannot quote the whole scope

Pre-engineered building suppliers are built around standard portal frames. Pipe racks are not standard — which is why they often end up split across two vendors, or welded on site.

02

Projects needing racks and buildings from one shop

We fabricate the standard portal frames and the non-standard racks in the same works, under the same certificate and the same welding coordinator.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work to our drawings, or do you design?
We work to your drawings. Our EN 1090-2 certificate states "Design: Not include" — we are a make-to-print fabricator, so the engineering responsibility stays with your consultant or EPC contractor. Send us the shop drawings or the design drawings with a scope description and we will quote the fabrication.
What happens to our drawings after we send them?
They remain your property. We use them to quote and fabricate your job and we do not share them or reuse them on other projects. If your project requires a confidentiality agreement before you send anything, tell us and we will sign yours.
Can you meet an EN 1090 execution class requirement?
Yes, up to EXC3. Our certificate 1128-CPR-10.09.0686 is issued by EUROCERT S.A. in Greece under EN 1090-2:2018, covers execution class EXC3, and is valid until 13 March 2028 under annual surveillance. EXC3 covers bridges and other high-consequence structures; EXC1 and EXC2 are included below it. You can verify the certificate with EUROCERT directly.
What are your welding qualifications?
We hold ISO 3834-2:2021 (certificate 10.09.0687), the comprehensive tier of the welding quality standard, and our welding coordinator holds the International Welding Engineer (IWE) qualification per ISO 14731:2019 §6.2.2. Our welding procedure qualification records cover processes 135 (MAG), 136 (FCAW) and 135+121, material group 1.2, at plate thicknesses up to 30 mm.
What is your minimum order, and what are your lead times?
Both are confirmed per project rather than quoted as a blanket figure — our export projects have ranged from 5 tonnes to 2,000 tonnes, and lead time depends on tonnage, complexity and coating scope. Send the drawings and target dates and we will confirm both in writing before you commit.
How is the steel packed and shipped?
Sea freight, packed for container or breakbulk depending on member length and tonnage. We have shipped to 14 countries including Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Egypt and Türkiye. Tell us the destination port and incoterms you need quoted.
Can you supply the mill certificates and inspection records?
Yes. Material traceability and inspection documentation are part of what the EXC3 execution class and ISO 3834-2 require, so the records exist as a matter of course. Tell us at enquiry stage what your consultant needs to see and in what format.
Can you quote racks and the building together?
Yes, and that is usually the point. Pre-engineered building suppliers are set up for standard portal frames, so pipe racks often get split to a second vendor or welded on site. We fabricate both in the same works, under the same certificate and the same welding coordinator.
Do you fabricate the platforms, stairs and walkways as well?
Yes. Equipment platforms, access stairs, ladders and maintenance walkways are part of the same scope for us. Send the layout and we will quote the whole rack.
